Fundraising Campaign

November 2017
It's a very exciting time for us at Fledge as we draw closer to the opening of our new house. We are currently in the process of recruiting support workers and have already appointed Kevin as a full time member of the team. We are wanting to add a part time support worker as well and are hoping that this post can be filled quickly.

We are also pursuing options regarding a separate office space, as our current location is not ideal, especially as the team grows.

All of this means that we are in need of funding and we have set ourselves a target of £20,000 before the end of the financial year. Already we have been able to raise a quarter of this amount, be we still have a long way to go.
How can you support us?
Ali Williams is hoping to do a skydive at the beginning of December and is aiming to raise £5,000 towards the new house. She has a crowdfunding page and would love it if you felt able to donate. All the money raised will go towards the start up costs, enable us to furnish the new house, do improvements on the existing house, employ more staff to support the residents, be able to bless those that move into the house and continue to grow and sustain the work that Fledge does.

Join the team
We are still in need of a part time (15hrs) Support Worker to join our small but growing team. Could it be you, or someone you know? Have a look on the website for more details.

Donating Items
Setting up a new home involves equipping the rooms with items for the residents to use. This could be anything from cutlery, bedding or a toiletries. If you don't feel able to donate money, but would like to help in other ways, contact Nerissa via the email button at the bottom and she will be able to tell you what our current needs are.

Hosting an event
Are you the type of person that could organise a fundraising event on our behalf? There are lots of ways to get people involved, have fun and raise money. Perhaps you could host a coffee morning, or a tea party? Maybe a few of you could get together and have a table top sale or a craft sale? Perhaps you could take part in a sponsored silence or a sponsored run? Please let us know if you plan to put on an event and make sure you take a few pictures. We would love to post them on our Facebook page.
Thank you so much for all those who already support us and have given so generously. We couldn't do this without you. So far we have been able to help nine residents and we are looking forward to making a significant difference in the lives of many more people.
Ways you can support Fledge:

Regular Giving

Fledge needs around £85,000 a year to run. The first few years, until we establish a good track record, are the hardest to raise.

40 people giving £25 a month would ensure the future of our Project Manager for 6 months.

6 churches donating £1,000 would cover the training and support of our mentors for a year

£11 provides one night's accomodation
