We are now full after welcoming our newest resident to the house.
- That the girls will learn to work well together in the house and have respect for each other.
- Pray that the girls would have a peaceful and incident free Christmas.
- Pray also that they will maintain good mental health especially at a time which can be stressful and difficult to deal with.
- Pray that their mentors would develop close relationships and be able to guide them wisely.

Winter colds, annual leave and needy residents have left the support staff quite drained. More than anything, they need a bit of a break and time to recuperate and recharge over the festive period.
- For Nerissa and Natasha, that they may have a peaceful and blessed Christmas.
- Thank God for the addition of our new support worker who starts 9th January.
- That more people will hear of Fledge and want to get involved as volunteers or Trustees.

Funding is vital for the work that we do. We have had lots to be grateful for this month, so our prayers are of thanksgiving.
- Thank God for those individuals and churches who give regularly, and pray that more people will be raised up to support us.
- Thank God for all the donations and gifts for the residents, including a Christmas meal and stocking presents.
- Thank God for successful grant applications.
- Thank God for the provision of money for a Mentor Coordinator

Continue to pray about the possibility of a social enterprise, which would provide both experience and funding for the residents.
Pray for the Trustees in particular, as they look at the future of Fledge and make decisions regarding the way forward. May they have open hearts and minds and be able to discern God's voice clearly.

Ways you can support Fledge:
|
|
|
|
Fledge needs around £85,000 a year to run. The first few years, until we establish a good track record, are the hardest to raise.
40 people giving £25 a month would ensure the future of our Project Manager for 6 months.
6 churches donating £1,000 would cover the training and support of our mentors for a year
£11 provides one night's accomodation |
|
|
Volunteers receive full training and expenses and have the opportunity to make a real difference to the life of a young person. We need Mentors, Fund-raisers, Trustees, Advocates, and Supported Lodgings Hosts. |
